~ Intermission ~

Okay, so here’s the deal. After much time away from this sweet blog and considerable consideration, I’ve decided that I no longer have the time or the gusto necessary to continue this site in its original and/or recent format. I’m open to suggestion for where to take LoftLust from here, though its fate is regrettably quite precarious. So consider this post a suspension of sorts, of all things familiar from this soapbox. Perhaps another day LoftLust will return to some sort of publishing schedule, with a different look, or a different purpose completely. My love for design and great products will always be there, but that affection regularly reinvents itself and what to do with it yields perpetual bemusement. So continue to have fun with what you are doing. I look forward to your adventures, while mine take me somewhere else…

[…] On a sad note, Brittany decided to put LoftLust on an indefinite hiatus. Her career has been growing by leaps and bounds and as a result, she just doesn’t have the time to put into it that it requires. We’ve tossed around ideas on how to transform it into something that works with her current life’s situation but haven’t come up with a winner yet. If you’ve got any ideas, let her know in the comments. […]

    Brittany,
Congrats on your career taking off. I’ll be sad to not get any great updates from your site. I would always love to have you contribute over at grassrootsmodern.com if you get the itch to write every once in a while. Best of luck.

Too bad. I just came across this blog in order to list it in the Dmoz directory. I thought it was a really great idea for a blog. Why not keep it going evey weekly or monthly as an ezine for new things you come across? If you are in the industry this blog would certainly compliment your resume. Anyway, I will list it as an archive. Maybe someone else will be inspired by you and carry on the idea. :) http://dmoz.org/Home/Urban_Living/
