Lest you want second best, you need Nest

Nest TableSimple, brilliant design describes the Nest Table by Joe Doucet. Needing little description, this piece is eye-candy furniture. Deliberately functional and vividly distinguishable, the Nest low table with ceramic vase is an exploration into what makes a form. The table has a removable vase that can be used for whatever your imagination comes up with. Some ideas might be floating candles, a planter, remote control storage, a snack dish, your colorful marble collection, or perhaps your iPod + iTrip and remaining space awaiting your Nintendo Revolution controller?

Nest is made of molded birch plywood with a walnut exterior and white laminate interior, polished stainless steel legs and a ceramic vase.

It was designed by Joe Doucet and is produced and distributed by Intoto a company co-founded with his wife Janet in 2002. An Art Center graduate, Joe toggles between graphic and product design utilizing Intoto as the face for his furniture and product designs and maintaining a variety of identity clients as design director for Kirshenbaum Bond + Partners, NY. Ah… versatility!
