Hang your jacket on my antlers, baby
So how about a little dose of whimsy? I had a friend in high school whose dad was a serious hunter. To celebrate his love for animals, he had two beautiful living dogs and walls of partial, not so fortunate, stuffed ones. In the stairway to the second floor there was a giant moose that startled me every time I made my ascent even though I’d been to her house dozens of times.
There were deer everywhere and a few birds of some kind, and in her room, because she loved wolves like no other animal, a wolf’s head, snarling teeth showing to sing us to sleep, when I’d stay over.
Ah, thank you Enrich Ginder for your faceless, artistic expression of cast resin to fulfill one’s need for antlers without having to kill anything! The Ghost Antler Coat Rack is a very cool white-on-white, ‘I’m a minimalist freak, with a quirky sense of humor and a desperate need for a place to hang my coat’ piece. Molded and finished by the artist, each piece is slightly unique and I can’t say enough about the beautiful smooth texture. Quite an attention grabber and a creative combo of form, function and whimsy. Can we say fornctsy? Yeah, me neither…
