Light up a little history, without having to repeat it

Brunklaus ChandelierSome say a chandelier is the little black dress of the home - for you dudes that means it’s the one simple something that makes the place look good, without having to try too hard, on almost any occasion. Well I’ll admit I was a bit of a skeptic about such a statement until I saw Dutch designer Nicolette Brunklaus’ Chandelier. She’s combined the elegance of a vintage candle and crystal fixture with a contemporary bright white hollowed out shade for an eclectic creation that I simply adore.

In the most modern of places among the most industrial of materials this lamp creates such a cool contrast, I’m inclined to call it uber juxtaposition.
