Happy middle of the week! Here’s something absolutely whimsical and fabulous and a little expensive (for an original), but hey - it’s a freaking sofa in the shape of rosy red lips and what a statement it would make in your modern space.
The Bocca Sofa was originally designed in the early 70s by Studio 65, a collective of designers formed in 1965 whose goal was to carry out the projects evolving in universities and in social conflict environments at the time, for Edra, an Italian family furniture company gone international.
A screaming focal point and a design that is intentionally sensual and captivating, the Bocca Sofa is only available in the stretch red fabric, and the original will cost you. However, Heller has rereleased this sexy classic produced in a soft resin making it suitable for indoor or outdoor use (and significantly less moolah) - also only available in kissable red.
