Very airy privacy: Slats room dividers
So here’s a great way to chunk up open space. Yes, the reason you moved there is the sleek open space, the modern upgrades in an early 20th century building that’s right where you want to be in the city. However the place is 600 square feet and there’s two of you. Though you love spending time with him, you’re sleeping in, dreaming on a lazy Sunday morning when you wake to the bright lights of your favorite boy’s PS2 game flashing in your face and think to yourself, “I’ve never been to so many raves all in one night before.”
And then there’s those evenings when friends are on their way over and you’re throwing together some munchies, straightening your hair, picking up the magazines and shoes and piles of mail, and you’re so relieved that the project you’ve been working on, currently spread out all over your bed is out of view behind these totally cool Slats from Inhabit designers, Mike and Jennifer Tuttle.
Slats are made of soft, easy to clean retrosuede fabric hung between two silver poles. They come in several very cool and colorful graphic designs and are a contemporary and creative way to designate areas in a space without making it feel crowded.
