Take one down, pass it around, 98 bottles of spice on the wall…
design*sponge posted about the 1-Line Spice Rack yesterday and I thought it was really cool, and want it badly, so here it is. Made of a steel frame that mounts to the wall this piece will instantly turn everyday spices into a work of art. Not only is this asymmetrical example of superb craftsmanship visually stimulating, but it’s also a smart space saver. By displaying spices that would otherwise likely be taking up room in your cabinets, this artistic creation gets them out of your limited storage and right there in front of you while you’re prepping food.
The little bottles are included, but you’ll have to add the spices and olive oil bottle on your own. A few recommendations if you relate to either scenario I can see myself facing: a) You really are clueless as to what’s in those bottles. Looks fancy; smells herbaly but you can’t tell the the cayenne from the paprika. Try adding labels to the bottom of the bottles, but don’t forget to keep the cork on when you turn them upside down! b) You’re a bit of a klutz and would hate to see your spices go flying. Dan (by way of d*s comments) suggested using magnets to secure the bottles on to the rack keeping them stable, and intact. Good advice!
