New at Design Within Reach is this Bingo Pouf with tray table. What’s a Bingo Pouf you ask? Good question.

For starters the Pouf is really killer design. It’s an ottoman / stool / side table / single bed that is not only versatile, but unique looking. I prefer the red fabric with the natural wood tray, as pictured, because I like the contrast of simple curvy lines, in a bold dramatic red, with the smooth maple wood tray. It also comes in charcoal.

Modern spaces tend to be small, often due to their urban location. Take my studio apartment a few years back - great location, walk to anywhere, funky group of neighbors, itty bitty living space. I utilized the good ol futon. Not the best looking piece of furniture, but it came in handy when I had friends stay over.

If I’d had one or two of the these Bingo Poufs that place would have been much more pimp. My visual: coffee table in the middle, comfy chair in the corner, loveseat, and pouf in between them. Yep - perfect.

The fold out sections are made of high-density foam, which means they won’t flatten much with weight and will bounce back in to shape when no one’s on them. The tray even works well as a side table to the bed when it’s unfolded. The Pouf’s on my lust list!
